7up type soap in the mold

Made two new batches of 7-up type soap last night. The top looks great. Though I think I might have went a little heavy handed with the black on the inside. I will have to see what it looks like when I cut it tonight. I always have to keep telling myself a little black goes a long way!

So to continue in my soda/cola line I am now introducing Rootbeer Soap!

Frothy sweet rootbeer aroma - right from the soda fountain tap!

This one goes great with the Cherry Cola and the 7-up type soaps.

7-up type soap!

Well I got around to making the 7-up type soap this weekend. Didn't come out exactly like I had planned because I guess I didn't wait long enough to pour the second layer. I ended up with the layers blending together, but I must say I was very pleased with how that ended up looking. Had to do a back lighting photo to show how cool it looks.
The bubbles on top are pretty cool, but they are on the fragile side so maybe it was for the better my other bubble layer ended up being blended in.

7-up type scent?!?!?!?

Round 1

Round 2

see where the top split off :(
I am introducing new scents to my line to go along with my Cherry Cola soap. First one up is 7-up type: As sweet and bubbly as a new can of lemon-lime soda.

This scent is amazing and it smells just like 7-up! Everyone at my office was blown away by how good this smells!

I am still in testing on this one cause I want it to be super cool and it just isn't there yet but I thought I would show you how it is coming along so far and see what you all thought about them.

First round I wanted to try some dots in it similar to the 7-up cans(diet more so) and I wanted to create bubbles. Well I have to say it looks ok but still not good enough. Couldn't decide if I should do more dots, less, bigger or smaller ones.

In the end I ended up expanding on the bubble look and I thought it looked great in the mold. But I ran into a small problem as it separated some when I took it out of the mold. I am going to attempt this one again to see if I can get the layers to stick together better or not. If they don't stick better then it will be round 3 of figuring out another idea to try.

Once I master this scent I have another one for my cola/soda type line that I need to work on so stay tuned for the next scent.....
