3 soap batches in one night!

So this was a record for me I did 3 batches of soap last night. Trying to get stocked up better since I have no idea how much I will need for the craft shows coming up. left to right island kola nut, enchanted apple, forbidden fruit. Tonight I need to work on some sort of packaging for the cupcake soaps hmmmm what to do......

oh and I ordered some new scents yesterday and I can't wait for them to get here
so be on the look out for mountain dew and whipped cream!(just have to decide what I want them to look like!)

Craft Show display!!

Finally got a nice day so I did a test run of my craft show display. First show will be May 1-2 I am pretty sure. Need to make some more soaps still and may end up adding a second table but for now this is the plan. Getting nervous my first ever show is getting closer now :)

Cupcake soap!!!!

I have been bitten by the cupcake soap bug thanks to The Soap Queen! These things look good enough to eat don't they?!?!?!? These ones are scented with The Soapy Love Strawberry Jam and I have some Chocolate ones setting up as we speak. YUM!!!!

yesterday was a good day!

The Etsy gods were smiling on me yesterday first my Cran Apple soap made the Etsy finds email. Then around 1am(mountain time) my Cucumber Melon soap made the front page of Etsy and I was still awake to see it!!
What a nice day it was :)

broke the funk!

see almost no coconut oil left :( the bottom of 35lbs of it!

I finally made soap tonight!! I was getting pretty low again on Sandalwood(see pic) so I had no choice really, lol. Sad to report though that is probably the last batch of cp soap for awhile as I think I don't have enough coconut oil to make another batch. Also starting to get low on lye so at this point I am just waiting for the Tax refund check fairy to hurry up and bring my check so I can order stuff! :P Till then I guess it is time to play with the melt and pour soap some more.

On a different note today I sent off my entry for my first ever craft show!! Just waiting for my table cloth to get here then I will do the test run set up of everything. That reminds me I need to work on typing up labels to go on the shelves and such, more for the to do list!

Winter Blues

Ok so I know I haven't been posting as much recently. I swear I have a bad case of the winter blues! Having moved from CA to CO in the middle of winter has been rough. I think I have been missing my warm sunny weather and it put me in a funk the last few weeks where I didn't want to work on anything. But worry not it warmed up some this week and I have been going to an indoor pool to do some swimming(trying to trick myself it is summer, lol) so my mood is picking back up again. So hang in there with me while I work on saying goodbye to the funk!
