Summer Medley

Finally got my supplies today so I am back in business. Just in time as I ran out of Summer Medley soap, so that is the first batch I made. Sad this is the last of this scent the supplier isn't going to carry it anymore and I was able to get the last they had of it. Going to have to look for a replacement scent for my 6 color swirl soap.

Summer Medley is a perfect blend of fruits that screams summer. Sweet oranges, ripe strawberries, sliced lemons, lime juice, grapefruits and red raspberries. A wonderfully unique, strong scent.

Don't forget to sign up for the soap give away! I thought about going all nuts and posting everywhere I am doing a give away but I decided I would rather have those that really read and follow my blog to have better odds of winning.

My, my, my! This should have been the Saponifier winner for best swirl! This soap looks delicious! I'm jealous.

Gorgeous Soap! I tried my first batch of soap yesterday and, this morning, "it looks like vomit" as my daughter so nicely put it! ha ha ha. It set up nice but the color is the issue. ha ha ha

thanks everyone

Patrice I actually wrote a tutorial for how to do this kind of batch for the Soapinfier Magazine but it didn't look like they have used it yet. I debated on entering the first version of this one but the swirl is just on the top mostly and since I use a log mold not a slab I thought it wouldn't be enough for a swirl contest. (last batch is in my etsy store of on my website or check my blog in june)

Hang in there Mia Sophia when I first start mine were sooo bad. Someone told me as you near your 15th+ batch you really start getting the hang of it and I think they were right.
