Cupcake Bath Bombs round 1

Scented in Banana Cream

Earlier this week I mentioned I was working on bath bombs this week and that includes my attempt and cupcake type ones. So here is round 1!
They need work jazzing them up but not a bad start. I didn't want to go the direction most others do trying to use frosting for the top. So now my challenge is to make them more exciting without frosting. Stay tuned for more rounds of these.

they may look yummy with some of your melted soap dolluped on top, maybe with some sprinkles, just a thought :)
I like the look of them like that, lets people know that it really is a fizzy.

That is what I think I am going to try. I like the ones people make with frosting but you have to take it off which seems like a waste so I am trying to make a more useable cupcake bomb.

I didn't realize that the bombs with the frosting had to have the frosting taken off. That does seem like a terrible waste. Good for you for trying to create a complete-use bomb!

some do, some don't

Depends on how they make the frosting. Some people make the frosting out of whipped cp soap which is cool and I may test that out. Others say you can put the frosting in the tub but it has no real benefit. I know the Soap Queen posted a new frosting recipe on her blog that is sorta like a bubble bar from what I gather, but many people aren't fond of the additive that you use so I am staying away from that method for now.

Ahhh the fun part of testing to see what will work and look best.

As long as you're having fun trying this out. I'm so impatient sometimes I can't wait to find the best formula for something and then I just give up too soon. :}

I'd forgotten that the frosting recipe was posted on Soap Queen...I guess I didn't try to remember since it wasn't something I thought I'd attempt any time soon.
